Exhaust Band Clamp question

Does anyone know the size of the band clamp you need for the stock TR6 exhaust and the best place to get them. Thanks

Hi Jerry,
As you know, band clamps will grip the exhaust pipe very tightly without indenting the pipe & make a superior connection. There are a number of different "T bolt" clamps available from irrigation supply places & such. Non of them come close to the "Mikalor brand" clamps in quality, strength, or clamping power.

You DO need to measure the diameter carefully because these clamps have a limited "pull down" range. Maybe someone can give you an exact measurment.

There is direct contact info here: https://www.namikalor.com/contact.html
and catalog with sizing info here: https://www.namikalor.com/images/supra_w4.pdf

I just email an order to DW & they show up in the mail soon after:

I just purchased a 2" SS band clamp for the 3A at my local parts store for $8. Fixed my leak problem.

Jerry,
Stainless Specialties in FL have a real nice band clamp that works perfectly on the Falcon Sport exhaust. That said, the smallest clamp they make is I think a 2" clamp, may be too large for the stock exhaust. Measure your exhaust and call them to see what they have. As stated above, the clamp needs to be slightly smaller than the pipe so as to stretch and fit tight but not distort the pipe.
