I get those type of calls daily. The IRS gave me at least 85 final warnings before they were going to arrest me. I also got a call from the power company saying my electricity was going to be cut off. They never asked if I was the account holder.

I had one caller who told me the local police were at the end of the street waiting for a yes or no to break in the door and arrest me. He was PO'ed yelling when I said "cool. 3 squares a day and don't have to get up for work, send them down"...

News is they broke one of those rings up, confiscated a whole bunch of gift cards.....

A surprising amount of phishing and extortion scams trace to .edu addresses. Wonder why?
