That brings back some memories. We had a 1960 Valiant back in the day. Couldn't afford a Dodge Phoenix, but we did squeeze the bank for a 1961 Rambler Classic station wagon.

And I wonder how many guys remember why there are *two* hand cranks on the side of the gas pump?

One to reset the quantity and payment dials

the other to turn on the pump

That is one giant, ugly car! I love it!
I remember pumps with those handles on the side. I used to hang around the little Sunoco service station in my hometown when I was a kid. We drove the attendants crazy by riding over the bell-hose with our bikes. You had to pop a little wheelie and land on the hose to get it to ring while you were riding through. It took a bit of practice. You couldn't stop to do it or else old Mr. Rafforty would come out and give you an ear-full.
