Her Dad would roll over in his grave, went through the war and never got over it.
I made the mistake of getting a XK8 and now she is ready for her's. We have tried 3 different M3's, two dogs and one with 45 thousand miles we are waiting to drive as one side of the top would not unlock and the motor was going crazy, It's on the way to a BMW Dealer now, glad it happened then and not the next time, it might have been mine. I don't know if she can wait, already wearing out EBAY and Craigslist.

This would all seem normal, well this was her 69th Birthday Friday, what next Road Atlanta????

Help!!!!

Wayne

If it has the SMG gearbox, might want to keep looking. Seriously. Pumps and relays fail and it can be a pricey repair.

Double check that it has had all recall work performed. A bunch of early M3s were shipped with incorrect rod bearings. Some were recalled twice.

The E46 is a great chassis.

I saw that too. I'm gonna try to talk the boss into buying it but I don't think he'll bite.

I wonder if he has the S50 or S52?

Wayne: take her for a test ride in a late model or new MINI Cooper S. Problem solved. Check out a John Cooper Works package if 175BHP isn't enough for her.

And, it's BMW, too, only costs less.

Best of both worlds. :yesnod:

Very hard to go wrong with a 330i - unless she really want to hammer it will be plenty fast.

+1.

330CiC with the "ZHP Performance Package" if you can find one. The convertibles are around. Parts are a fraction the cost of M stuff.

The M3 makes its power high up in the rev band.

Hi all, thanks for the help. We owned Mini's in England and our son has a couple of new ones S and Clubman. We have tried at least 3 and she was impressed but after the M3 she said that's what I want and being she has controlling interest in ***, well lets say I go along with things that are in my best interest!!!
By the way, I'm much better and should be ready for the heart attack in the passenger seat. Thinking about putting oxygen hookup on a hanger, just in case.

PS JUST RECEIVED THE ENGLISH VICTORY SIGN, what did I do now.
