Every time I look at their add, it's a bit misleading. The photo shows 7 anvils, one in place, and 6 on the upright. When you read the fine print, the wheel only comes with one anvil. You have to buy the other 6 separately (as a kit), and they are <span style="font-style: italic">never</span> on sale.
 
I bought one of these last year, and am quite pleased. Yes I did get the anvil set as well so the overall price is up a bit, but still well below anything else on the market. Usually a small English wheel is in the $700 range and higher. These also make great manicure devices, they can take off a finger nail is just micro seconds. ;-) I'm just beginning to learn how to shape panels with it and keep my fingers out of the way, but it's fun and I've made a couple of custom panels for my MGA project that I'm happy with.
 
We bought one of these for our shop this past spring when they were having a sale. As stated above, the ad says that the additional anvils must be purchased separately so we did. Once we got it all back to the shop and began putting it together there was a complete anvil set in the box with the English wheel. So we returned the now extra set and have been pretty happy with it. Its not used much but is handy to have around.
 
If anyone is interested I have a set of plans to build an English Wheel yourself, including making the dies.
