Engine won't turn off

Finally got my starter, coil, alt and dizzy wired up and my new engine fires right up and runs beautifully. Problem now is that the engine won't shut down by turning the key off in the ignition? Anyone have ideas on this issue?

Wirein error--------:iagree:
 
Either the wiring to the ignition got crossed, the ignition switch isn't functioning properly, or the car is overheating and "dieseling."
