Engine to Tranny Mounting Bits

I got all the fasteners to attach the engine and tranny together, but I'm not sure where each goes.

Does anyone have a guide or reference? Actually, if I knew the locations of the studs than I can determine the location of everything else, I think.

Ya know, I'm not sure I know what your question is. In looking at my engine, I see two allignment posts and three studs at the top of where the bell housing goes. The allignment posts are on the lower left and right on the block. The rest of the fastners are bolts that bolt it to the engine block, except where the starter goes. Should be the same on your block.
Don't know if that helps but if you could give me some more hints I might be able to help you out.

Cheers, Tinkerman

And here's a photo of what Tinkerman has suggested.
You can see the studs and alignment posts, the starter
bolt holes and the thru-bolt holes.

It's a TR4A tranny into a TR250 block But I'm pretty sure
yours is the same set up. I hope this helps.

If memory serves, the holes for the alignment pins are larger than the bolt holes (except the starter bolt holes which are larger yet). At any rate, the pins should be a very snug fit in their holes, while the bolts are much looser.
