TR6 Engine rotation direction

Evening all,

I'm currently have my 73 TR6 up on stands with tires off. I'm having my Carbs rebuilt and just got my rebuilt distributor back from British Vacuum Unit. I had him convert my vacuum retard to vacuum advance. So now I need to statically time the engine. The battery is disconnected for safety.

My question is does the engine fan turn clockwise or counter clockwise when viewing the fan from the drivers seat. Thanks in advance for any answers. Don't know why I didn't check it beforehand. I've watched my engine running a million times and never thought to document the direction. And being 70 if I don't write it down I won't remember. .

Hi Jerry-

From the drivers seat, its counterclockwise.

Cheers
Randy
