Engine progress...

Hey all,

After much procrastinating, I spent the morning and part of the afternoon assembling the 1500 I am rebuilding (Spitfire). I forgot how much fun it is to build an engine. I think Peter Egan once said, he'd rather rebuild ten engines than sand a fender. Completely agree.

The bottom end is done; I'm very happy with the machine work. I still need to install and degree the cam. And strip and paint the front and back plates. And, and ...

Anyway, here's a photo. Will post periodic updates if anyone is interested.
