Engine Parts Suppliers

Looking for feedback. Rebuilding my BJ8 engine and just checking to see if anyone has a preference for engine parts suppliers? Moss? A-H Spares? etc?
Thanks Jim

Find an engine builder that has done many Healey engines and talk to that person about what specifically you want done with your engine. Even if that builder is from out of State. That expertise will be well worth any shipping expense. There are lots of American manufacturers that make certain engine parts that are of better quality and less expensive than the stuff sold by the usual suspects. An experienced Healey engine builder will already know of these sources and have some reasonably cost upgrade suggestions .

I agree with this. My machine shop told me they would not use some of the parts I provided from an Austin Healey parts house. They sourced a new set of rings and bearings for me.
