Engine Paint

Where do I buy the silvery-green engine paint that this article says was used on the later engines. This is the color my air filter, oil pan, and valve cover are painted now, I want to sandblast them and repaint them to be perfect.

Here is a shot from my car, if this is not what the stock color should be for a 1969 Sprite let me know. I am confused on if it should be this blue or the grey.

For a '69 Sprite the correct engine color is the light 'hammertone' green, aka, the big healey color, not the 'olive' or 'Morris' green. Your air filter housings should be gloss black.

The engines were painted as a unit. They should be the same hammertone green if that is what is correct for a '69. I'm surprised that that is the correct color as I have never seen an A series engine painted that color. I learn something new every day...

Tullamore,
I'll add this to my earlier statement to engine color. If your engine number begins with "12CE" or "12CD" the lighter hammertone green would be the correct color. "12CC" engines were the dark(er) green.
Yes the entire engine would be painted the same color. For the correct engine color I consulted Horler's OS&M.
