Engine Mounts

Easy question for the day... are the engine mounts painted black or the engine color. 5 interlocking pieces for an engine mount... no wonder these cars cost so much to re-build.

Thanks for the help

Engine color. Including the rubber blocks. The mounts installed on the engine and the whole thing was painted green before being installed in the car.

Complicated? Take your trafficator apart to find complicated. Or how about just the door check straps, or the carb linkage? This car amazes me. The complicated engineering is very interesting to observe.

And I just cleaned and painted my engine mounts last week. I painted all the metal parts engine green but painted the rubber parts black. Their in so I'm not pulling them back out.

This is the first(and probably the last) BJ8 I've ever done from the ground up. Its been a challenge. I didn't spend near this much time (or money)on the XKE. Going back to TR's after this.
