Engine in, new photos and a dire question...

Or, most places have a bubble wraped 1/8 inch copper tubeing with a bunch of fittings for cheep.
 
When you say it dies, precisely what is happening? How long does it run before stopping? If the thing runs OK for a few seconds after starting, then gives up, that probably is not timing--my best guess would be carbs or fuel supply, but maybe someone else has more experience with this kind of problem.
 
I think I would look at fuel supply first as well.
