Glad to hear it - but I'll still wait a week before I return all the sharp objects and belts we removed from your place.

After I read the follow-up post, dang if I didn't hear a chirp the next time I started the TR3A. The car had been sitting awhile and the chirp went away fairly quickly so (for now) I'm ignoring it. If I had to guess I would say it was a rocker that had had its lube drain away while sitting.
 
I know we've all discussed this before...many of the repo water pumps do not clear the pump pulley. Mine would chirp when cold, and almost completely go away when warm. I assume that's because the pulley expands as it heats. So, if you have replaced the water pump, this may be a cause of chirping. If not...then not.
 
I did replace it with one of those Moss up rated ones. Hopefully that's all it is.

Man today in the middle of January I could have drove my TR3 with the top down today. had to be 60 degrees. Tomorrow a little cooler.
