Folks, I have trike that is titled Austin Healey, it has an engine in it that I cannot Identify. The code on the tag on the engine block is, "9S-H-1828". Any help in identifying this engine would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance. Don Landis

Don,
Four cylinder? The early Sprites/Midgets were "9C" and Minis were "9F". I found a web page that states an Elva race car's engine is a BMC 1100 (9S-H-1557). The 1098 cc engine fitted to Sprigdets was "10C".

So not a definitive answer.

It is a 4 cylinder, with a single carb. I need to get info on it for engine parts. Thanks
