Engine flush/mice deterrent

Ive always just let my cats sleep in/on my car. But consider claws and shedding as a possible risk.

Uh, no I don't work in a restaurant.
 
Pepermint oil. My brother fought mice in his motorhome for several years. Nothing worked, not Bounce, bar bait, sticky traps, moth balls, etc. Put a few drops of pepermint oil in mouse sensitive areas and not had an issue since.
