Can anyone tell me where the engine earth cable connects from on the engine, and then to the chasiss, is there any specific position ? by the way this is for a BJ7.

Well Rob , here is the way I prefer to do it. On the engine I connect it directly to the lower bolt holding the starter in place. Just ahead of that on the car frame is a threaded hole to accept the other end. Make sure the mating surfaces are clean and tight.--Fwiw--Keoke

Thanks for that, I wondered about that hole in the chassis, do you know what size bolt i need for that ?
Also why i have your attention any idea what size spanner i need for the crankshaft nut ?

Rob

Rob,been a while since I have been there but I "think" the crankshaft nut requires a 1 11/16" Socket. On the Bolt just grab a hand full between say 5/16" and 3/8" NF en see which one fit. :G---Keoke
