Engine color

Well I am getting started rebuilding the engine and I need to know if anyone knows the name of the color. I don`t want to just use something out of a spray can but a 2 part polyurethane paint for gloss and durability. I can get a spray can and match it but if anyone knows the name of the color it would be much easier. thanks Skip

According to Anderson & Moment's Restoration Guide..."engine paint is now generally referred to as 'healey engine green'...there is no common agreement on hte exact shade, which probably did vary considerably during production." Elsewhere it is said that "...the silver-gray green color, according to Clausager, was called 'steel dust gray'".

This may not help much, but good luck!
