Finally...all the little details done... now to move on to other things on the Post Wis. Conclave To Do list. Yes, it is an Austin-Healey 3 liter... just with a bit of an upgrade.

Short list of the engine upgrades:
As mentioned, engine is still 1963 Austin-Healey 3-liter, the head was done by Hap Waldrop at his race shop in N.C. (flowed, etc. etc.), Rocker Arms unlimited reprofiled the rockers, the cam was custom cut for the engine by Dema Elgin (Elgin Cams to maximize EFI... more than BJ8 but less than full-rally), light DWM flywheel, ProRace damper, balanced to with 1/2 gram, modified Kirk headers (ceramic coated inside and out), GM HEI distributor machined to fit,... and, of course, 6 injector custom fuel injection intake manifold, managed by a MegaSquirt ECU. The engine wasn't built as a race engine, just good all-around street. Hooked to a Toyota 5-speed (W58) to a 3.54 rear gear (original was 3.9), which makes for a nice package.

Very very nice though you probably won't make it through Concours ....
BTW I have a similar billet hydraulic fluid reservoir though mine is only two-chambered and you obviously have separated your front and rear brake circuits.

Yup Michael, I have a Wilwood dual master cylinder ... so 3 chambers, front, back and clutch and a balance bar for brake biasing.
Well, shucks you think the Concours judges would pick up and the few things I've done??

Came across this pic ... better shows the cold air intake ... air enters in front of radiator, goes through a Spectre air-filter that is sized to ensure more than enough air for engine efi plenum, the aluminum duct is ceramic coated inside and out to reduce temperature of the air being drawn in, the fender well has had a channel added to allow duct (it does not reduce space needed for wheel movement). You may recall that there are 6 injectors mounted in the substantially modified Weber runners.

Looks fantastic! I have a question on the crankcase ventilation: I see you have replaced the T in the rocker cover with a U. I see where the hose comes from the tappet cover as usual, but not where the other hose goes. Can you describe?

I'm going to Galena Conclave and I asked about judging for modified big Healeys such as Steve has plus other tasteful upgrades. There isn't any dedicated Class. Maybe something will happen or maybe it will be a "Popularity" class. Steve, "unpolished alternator" and that could be a big point deduction! LOL

Uhhh, why sure there is a dedicated judging class for modified cars. Always has been. It goes by the name "Popular Vote," or sometimes "Popularity." They award trophies and everything!
