I finally managed to find some -050 big end shells, by Friday evening I had the crank and cam shafts in, yesterday I was almost finshed with the engine build, today I lowered it off the engine stand, fitted the rear plate, flywheel, clutch and gearbox and bashed in the last of the core plugs, whole assembly ready to lower into place! A good weekends work I reckon!
