I think that on the MGB Experience BBS (got a plug in for Skye)

we decided that the engine was 400 lbs and I would say add exhaust manifold, clutch and pressure plat and tranny anothe 100 lbs!!

I don't know if this helps, but a midget engine weighs 220lbs sitting on a pallet.

thanks all! I've sold the engine and tranny for the v6 conversion, the B is at the body shop now, where the bay is being prepped and painted.any suggestion on shipping mwtods would be appreciated. BR
