Looks like Uncle Sam is asking for more than I have this time around and I'll be selling the Midget. We got hit pretty hard with taxes this year, so the car has to go. I'll be listing it on craigslist locally in SC and then maybe take a chance on ebay. I'm thinking of putting it out there for $5200. If any of you have any thoughts on what it's worth, please chime in. You all know my car pretty well. Thanks, guys. It's been a great ride.

Well Ed it was great while it lasted! If nothing more it helped to bring lots of us together for some fun
Good luck with the sale (and taxes)

I haven't even got started but I know already I will be paying a substantial amount this year. Hopefully not so I'm in the trap Ed found himself in this year but I don't even want to think about the scenario Ed needs to go through. I think your asking price with a rebuilt engine and 5 speed and hte condition of body is indeed fair and reasonable. Please let us know how it goes.

Sorry to hear it, and good luck with the sale.

You guys are the best. You all made this an amazing experience. I've never been a part of such a great bunch of gear heads. Thanks for everything.

It is the right time of year to get a premium price, so don't hesitate if you're sure that you have no other means of paying the tax bill.

Ed, keep your eyes open for a cheap Midget you can fix up slowly over time...

Looks like a nice advert and it reads "honest" to me.

Gone baby, gone... Sold the car today to a guy in TN. He's gonna Auto Cross it. Pretty cool, but kinda sad. Thanks all you guys for all your help, encouragement, and knowledge over the years. I'll pop into the forum every now and then to check in.

Well just dang!

Makes me think of high school in the early 1960s. Allstate Mopeds, Cushman Eagles and Ducati Broncos.
