The machine shop made my 3mm slot into a 1/8 slot perfectly for $25. Routine work for them. (and they are in a town of 2000).

Gotta love small town America!
Glad you got it fixed!

Yep!

I lived in Columbus MS, population 6,000 for 7 years in the Air Force. I knew exactly where to go to get pretty much anything automotive I needed done, and the whole town only took 10 minutes to traverse.

Now I live in the DFW metroplex, population about 10mil, and I have to search, call, and drive for days sometimes for even simple parts/machining. It's all here, but in a large town everyone becomes specialized and only handles fragments of your job.

I miss the smaller town.
