So are the independent owners on their own?

They're "independent owners". Up to them to fix the problem they should have been aware of for many years. II can't imagine a mom/pop store having an ATM that isn't "supported" by the manufacturer. There lies the responsibility. Most likely the company still exists, as someone is getting their cut from machine use.

Just my two cents.

I just downloaded and installed XP on my W7 machine to run as a virtual machine before they pull the plug. I need it for my version of AutoCAD. Now there's an expensive program.
