MGB Emission

The metal tube goes from carb to carb but I cannot figure out where the the rubber line goes. All vacuums are hooked up. I'm thinking it could be emission related. Its for a 72 engine and all the emission control stuff was removed.

That is indeed part of the emissions system. It is ~supposed to be~ connected to a charcoal canister located on the other side of the engine compartment on the shelf next to the heater box.
