Emission Levels

Just had the annual safety check done on my '66 BJ8. Although it's not required in the UK for classic cars we measured the emission levels and got the following results.:-

Front 3 Cyls: CO 5.55%, HC 634ppm, CO2 11.47%, O2 0.37%,
Back 3 Cyls: CO 9.27%, HC 4126ppm, CO2 4.1%, O2 6.7%

The difference is obvious! The question is, is the front too lean or is the back too rich?

Anyone know what these figures should be?

Thanks

AJ

Hope this helps. Rear richer than front, but i would guess both are too rich. CO should be more like 2% or less.
