Wimp!!! It's gonna get down to 18 below tonight in MN. I might have to put on a long sleeve shirt when I go for my 3 mile walk in the morning. Oh, did I mention the 18 inches of snow that fell here today?

Doc, you'd be fine if you'd do the proper thing and drink warm beer, English style.

Cold beer. Bah!

Got a storm moving through right now here. temps are in the mid 30s and it's raining. prediction is for it to turn to sleet and snow as the day progresses.
No snow on the ground here, but a simple 2 or 3 hour drive from here, into the lake effect snow belts puts you into towns dealing with 4 feet of snow already!
For the last week it's been in the teens here, so theis "heat wave" is pleasant to me.
And to Doc,
went to our favorite Christmas party last night, at my good friend Burt's post and beam built house, with his 20 foot Christmas tree in the living room.
We outclassed the typical CAB rations by breaking into an 80 year old bottle of scotch!
Smoooooooooth!
Now back to CAB....

Snowing here today. Ground just starting to get covered, and it's still lightly falling. 25 degrees now, and due to fall into the teens during the afternoon and evening. Gonna be a mess tomorrow!

Top down driving yesterday and this morning... then the cold front slid in around 1130 and brought light rain and mist. Got home just in time to get the top up before it got wet. 55 and the windows are still open for now

Been snowing hard off and on all day here in Southwestern Kentucky. There's about 2" on the ground so the whole world here may be shut down for several days ! Carla and I are from Alaska so it doesn't seem like anything to us but...Kentuckians can't handle it .

We have multiple inches of the "Pineapple Express" here today.

was supposed to be snow here but just rain - miserable but I don't have to shovel it - sure have had a lot of snow all around us though.

Front range (eastern plains and foothills) of Colorado was close to 60 and sunny today. No real measurable snowfall this year down here. Mountains and ski resorts are getting good amounts though.

Just thought you guys might like to know.

Yeah, weather got a bit difficult here too.

We went mountain biking this morning. One of the group almost got into a bit of temperature related trouble.

But we got him into the shade, got some fluids in him and got him cooled down. Then he was fine.

Wearing dark clothes on a sunny day in the 80's isn't the best plan for heavy exercise.

JP,

Remember - he has to live in Southern California-
that's punishment enough for me.

Yup, it's rough.

Maybe I'll go to the beach today and wallow in self-pity. :cooler:
