The Vintage Racer Group (VRG) has just released its 2015 schedule (https://www.vrgonline.org/events/) and in observance of Elva's 60th anniversary/birthday it will be the Featured Marque at the New Jersey Historic Races at NJMP on September 18-20.

There will be an all-Elva feature race at some point on the schedule and please pass this information along to your Elva racing friends. Contact information is on the event site and I will be happy to serve as a POC for Elva folks as well. I can be reached directly off-forum at: michael.oritt@gmail.com or 305-793-9467.

While I guess this event this may be of interest to some of you I don't think this forum is the place for me to post updated news.

For those wanting general information on the race--schedules, entry lists, FAQ's, etc--the best place to go is the VRG website, click on the event tab and then go to the event site itself.

For those interested in the Elva aspect of things news regarding Elva-specific events such as the Friday night get-together, the group photo, the all-Elva race, etc. I suggest that you go to either the UK Elva forum at https://www.elva.com/forum/ and go to the events page or the US Elva forum at: https://elleva.forumcircle.com/index.php? and doing the same thing. There will also be news posted on Roger Dunbar's excellent Elva website: www.elva.com and Roger has agreed to post event notices on it.

This has the makings of a big event. I have heard from Elva racers and street car owners from various places including Europe, California, British Columbia and the like who are planning to attend.

If you have any questions please post them on either of the forums or contact me directly at: michael.oritt@gmail.com.

I hope to see you at the top of the podium at the conclusion of this event.:eagerness:

Dougie--

Given that there will almost certainly be a couple of MK VII's and/or MK VIII's entered that would be a tall order indeed but I will try my best!
