Today I ordered my US Elise (I have already an European one in the Netherlands for a year). Waiting time in New York is quoted at 6 months, for April delivery. Is that realistic?
 
Rijk, I have to go to the Lotus dealer tomorrow, and I'll try to remember to ask about the delivery lead time. I'll post my findings tomorrow afternoon.

One of the guys I work with finally received his new Elise about a month ago from the only dealer in Michigan. He waited 11 months.

I didn't make it to the dealer today, but last week he told me that he had people who had been waiting for a year and a half for theirs. Of course, they ordered the car before they were even available, so that isn't representative of the actual waiting time.

Rijk, I checked today and was told "probably about a year, right now." The guy at the dealer here in Michigan said that they are currently receiving two cars a month. As production ramps up, the waiting time will decrease.
