So this is one of those topics that I'm really intrested in (just for curiosity sake, not planning on putting one in ever, I'd rather go for a 5 speed gearbox), but can't seem to find any good information about.

Does anybody have any links or sources of information for these guys?

Hello Ben,

I have said many times before on this forum, that I much prefer a four speed and overdrive (3rd and 4th) rather than a five speed. It is far more flexible and easy to drive particularly with my 2.5 Triumph which has lots of torque.
The best feature to my mind is that with third and overdrive third I have a useable speed range of 40mph to over 100 mph and all it takes is one flick of the switch.
If you get an opportunity, try driving a car with one fitted.

Alec
