Electro shock therapy

I'm having trouble at art shows w/ people touching my pieces even after I tell them not to. They are bending them up and breaking pieces off. I figured since the piece is made of metal, I might as well use that to my advantage.

So, I need to deliver a mild to moderate shock to folks who don't listen or don't know how to behave around art.

I'm serious about this. I need input on a device that will fit in a space about the size of the palm of you hand. Something I can install in the ceramic ball that'll zap the crap outta folks.

I was thinking of using a cap, but I'll hve to recharge after every jolt.

I don't wanna taze anyone or stop a pacemaker, but I want to prove a point and get their attention.

Any ideas?

BBZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZTTT!!!!!

Just make sure it's not made by Lucas!

Whats wrong with straight 110?

Instead of shocking them, set up a touch-activated alarm. They touch it and all heck breaks out! (Or install one of these clown-squirty things in the center and fill it with stinky stuff)!

If you're serious about this (and it sounds like you are) I'd vote with the boss on some sort of touch-activated alarm. The shock thing just screams lawyer and lawsuit to me.

Thing is they can't acutally touch it hard enough to set an alarm off w/o damage to the piece.

Put up what LOOKS like a high voltage cattle wire around your booth, table, etc. No one has to know it's "part of the display" but you, especially if YOU pretend to touch it "by accident" and demonstrate what happens! Are you a good enough actor to "sell" it?
