I was thinking of using the 4th fuse position on the fuse box to run a green wire to my heater fan switch. Is it a relatively simple job to liven this? Both tabs on the fused side for the green wires on my fuse box are curently used.
Regards
Craig

Quite simple to do. That is exactly what I did, by running a jumper wire from an ignition-on hot wire over to the un-used tab then taking a new green wire from the other side of the fuse to the heater. Kinda gives you a little insurance that the heater has its very own fuse to blow. Keep the fuse Lucas, though.

The American fuses don't correspond to the British fuse the ampage might have the same number but a different value.

That's a common misunderstanding DNK, There are American fuses which are exactly equivalent to the British fuses. The apparent incompatibility only rests with the two different Rating systems. Search here: "Fuse Rating Equivalents [ US to UK]--- /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif--Keoke

Thanks Gents.
I don't think I can buy USA fuses here (not that I would want to).......but thanks for the tip.

I wasn't being derogatory, I simply wouldn't go looking for US fuses for a British car while I'm residing in a British colony......

P.S. If you drive a late model Pontiac, it's probably a rebadged Holden which may require Aussy fuses.......
