TR6 Electrical Issues

As I just got this car I am new to the intracacies of the electrical system. When I first started I had lights, signals, horn etc... I proceeded to turn the engine over and heard a pop sound in the engine compartment and now have no lights, signals, horn or spark. The engine turns over fine, no fuses are blown so I am at a loss where to look next. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to state the year because of differences but on the battery positive cable see if there's a junction where certain brown wires interconnect with the positive battery cable...check there.

We can speculate all day about the problem, but this is a good opportunity to learn basic troubleshooting. Start at the battery, trace through the circuit, and find out where you are losing power. You will need a wiring diagram, for sure.

You can eliminate large parts of the electrical system just from the behavior of the problem; for example, if all the electrics are dead, there's a limited area where the problem could be. The idea is simply to use a logical process of eliminating things that could be the problem until you narrow in on it.
