just finished a carter electric fuel pump installation. surprisingly there was a bracket in the trunk that the carter fuel pump bolted to, imagine that! after drilling one 1 inch hole that the pump out line could go through the trunk, the wiring it was pretty easy, I used the plastic hose that runs along with the brake, fuel lines to run the positive wire to the front. I installed an oil pressure switch so the pump would only come on when there was oil pressure, hinse the motor is running. Part numbers available if requested. I also installed a realy for the pump. It actually works! BTW the fuel pump is for a triple set of webers that I am trying to get right.

Pictures of the fuel pump set up please.

Don, thats quite a setup, I hope I dont have to go to that much equipment. That looks like a full race setup. I dont plan on racing, at least on a track

It is in a rally Escort out of England. I really like some of the "things" they sell .Thought Alan might like the small view of the gas tank.

Wait a sec, you ran your positive feed through that plastic tubing? Isn't that the fuel tank vent line? That line should run up to the engine compartment and into the carbon canister. If you disconnected it are you venting your fuel tank somewhere else?

Great upgrade by the way. I've been running a facet electric pump on my car for a few years now, I love it.
