Electric fuel pump for Weber DGV carb

I'm trying to decide between a Carter P4070 (rotary vane) vs a Facet Posi-flow solenoid-type pump for a bugeye.

I have a Weber DGV carburetor which I understand does better with the Carter pump, but the Carter draws 4.5 amps vs 1.6 for the Facet. I can barely keep the headlights lit with the generator now.

Any thoughts on the relative advantages of the two? Both are maximum 4 psi.

Thanks in advance.

I doubt you'd have any problem with the Facet (for which I am a fan of), I don't think your engine could consume the entire output of either pump.

You'll likely get more specific answers if you ask this same question on the Spridget forum.

E8016S Electric Fuel Pump, its QUIET unlike the Facet, low pressure

Some Healey guys might want to use one of these too.-Fwiw--Keoke
