(but I really think you should have asked for more than $10K ...)

:jester:

Congrats and i do understand, it is a gorgeous house!

Thanks - we're gonna miss it!

Mick- That just means your agent posted to low for quick money in the pocket book :cool-new:

Congrats, now the fun part.
PACKIN

Second guessing is always a temptation. Just glad it's done, and we have plenty of time before closing to pack.

Have someone do it for you
What a difference

We won't be doing all of it. There are some things we want to pack and transport over there early. Otherwise, the moving company will be doing the bulk of it. Plus, that way they're liable for potential damage due to packing/storage.

WOOHOO!

(This is worth three bananas)

Hope the rest of the process goes smoothly, Mickey.

Think your agent would sell a Porsche? hahaha....

Congrats! We sold our old place around 3 years ago. We got good money and it was a huge relief (we thought it would take a long time.....sold on Day One).

Our movers were great and we moved almost nothing (even though I own a Chevy Express cargo van). It was great to just "show up" and everything was already in the new house.

That didnt take to long. When are you heading out west?

Going east - We're building a log home in the foothills of the Smokies.

That sounds like a living dream.

That sounds like a living dream.

Yep - we've been dreaming of this for a long time. Here's where we'll roost while the house is being built (located up the hill from the cabin):

Oh man, congratulations!!! We're getting ready to put ours on the market and were really worried about how long it will take. It's a 200 year old home in a historic district. We'll see

Good luck with yours! Stressful time, for sure.
