Chris-

I don't know how you can go fast if your wheels never touch the ground! Great picture!

Randy

ps I am definitely interested in the seal you've developed, I'm hoping that Joe Alexander can sort out the marketing/distribution aspects in time for my rebuild which is going to start next month.

Hi Randy,

I've send Joe the last ring I have had. I don't know to whom he will give it.

I'm currently preparing a new run of 50 seals. I think tomorrow I get information when the rings will be available. Maybe it takes 2-3 weeks to make them and two additionally weeks to distribute from me to Joe.

Cheers
Chris

I hope you can follow the installation manual. I tried my best to describe the work in English.

Your writeup is excellent - very clear. I think Joe is already setting up the equipment to do the modification to the scroll seal, which makes it even easier.

Do you by chance use the scroll seal Bastuck markets? The one I just purchased from the Roadster Factory came from Bastuck.

No, I haven't had a hand on the Bastuck scroll seal (Bastuck is about 20mls away from me and I met the owner at the track - he is a racer too).

But I found out that the the scroll seals from an other German dealer "Limora" has two wrong mounting bores per item. But I don't know where they sourced from.

Very nice, it was great riding shotgun with you. Thank you for sharing.

Enjoyable video. A about 6:20 in, it looks like that's the Karussell turn. I've always seen the cars dip down into that cambered section. It looks like you didn't. Is there a reason for that, or is it just as fast to stay out of it??

Thanks for the explanation...nothing like being prepared... :driving:

That has got to be one of the most difficult tracks to really learn.

What a great lesson in the use of the overdrive. Very fun to watch. Passing a tow truck while at speed on the track sure must get your attention.

As long they're waving white flags the tow truck is a normal competitor and can be overtaken at any speed. IF the car does tow then yellow flags are shown and speed has to be reduced and you are not allowed to overtake other cars except the tow car.

Looks like you've got a little Nuvolari in your blood line!!

Bellisimo!
