EGR Light

Hi - The EGR light is on in my 1981 fuel injected TR7. What would anyone suggest I do to resolve the problem.

It's been a long time, but I believe there is a counter sandwiched between two speedometer cables. It must be reset. This was a requirement all manufacturers had to meet in order to flag the need for service. I recall on Chevys, a little flap dropped over the odometer. We had to pull the instrument panel lens off and use a little pick to push it back up.
