Now that I've looked at it some more, I'm not sure what's going on, it looks like a Mk1 & 2 grafted together... I think!

John, that's an original Sprinzel / Speedwell Sebring bonnet. It looks like the only thing of value on the car!

I thought that was an aftermarket Sebring Bonnet as made by W&P.

Youre right again. It looks stupid with that bumper. I need a bonnet and I wouldn't mind that one. It looks in good enough condition, but of course shipping could be a little expensive. And the car, though it's trashed, is good for parts, and is actually better than my car.

I checked that out too!! Seems a lot to pay for just a nice hood (which would look much better on a BE methinks - AND w/o the bumper,hehe /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/pukeface.gif !!).

Well it does make me feel better to know that's a speciality built bonnet, and not something created out of a 25#'s of bondo! lolol! Hey, I need those guages!
