EFI Healey project up-date

Fellow Healey crazies, enclosed is a link to the project update for my 1963 BJ7 works rally replica w/efi.

Austin Healey BJ7 works rally replica w/efi update

I don't know how you other BJ7/8 owners have restored your windshield frames but, as noted in this update, that was a much bigger deal than I had anticipated.

Here in Colorado our weather has moved to winter and it's going to make getting the painting done a bit more challenging.

Cheers,
Steve Thomton

Re: EFI Healey project up-date

Looks like you have A/C supply vents. Right?
How's that working for you?

Also, the carb access panel.
You have put some serious time into the car, looks real nice.

Re: EFI Healey project up-date

Yes, it has a/c.... seems to work great.... real validation will be when the whole thing is together and I'm out on a 90deg day :yesnod: The side outlets you see under the drivers side and passenger side were made by splitting 3" exhaust pipes... full description is in the project section.

The carb access panel credit goes to Lin Rose... he's included some very good pictures on his website. I knew I should have one to authenticate the works rally look but hadn't seen exactly what I was looking for until I saw his. As usual, Lin was extremely helpful.

Thanks for the comments.

Steve

Re: EFI Healey project up-date

I looked at your web site further and found the A/C section along with other's.
Nice site, It looks like you are trying to keep out the heat from the engine compartment.
As you process keep me informed. I am curious as to how the insulation will work.
I will also keep tabs on you site,
Thanks
