Hello everyone,
A nearly successful weekend was had in repairing carb leaks and restoring exhaust manifold. However, after re-attaching the throttle cables I noticed that when the cable is tugged to its max the effect on the throttle plate is minimal (maybe an 1/8 in.), is this normal?? I would have thought the plate would need to open more than that to increase the draft for the richer mixture. Fyi.. the adjusting screw on the lever that the end of the cable attaches to is backed out to its max.
Thanks! -Steve
