Eewwww!!

Same sort of thing happened to my brother. He was playing baseball one evening, when he came to up to bat a moth few into his ear. Screaming in pain he came over to my clinic to have it removed. A little mineral oil to kill it and then with an otoscope pulled it out (just like a foxtail in a dog.....lol :G). From what I understand it is not that unusual to have cases like this in ER's.
