Just discovered that I've got my 30 year HS reunion in three months! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cry.gif

I still remember the twenty year reunion where my then Girlfriend asked me "who are all these old people". Let me just say that I too was more than a little surprised had how poorly my fellow classmates had aged after 20 short years back then.

Based on that experience a decaded later, - I'm half expecting more than half will show up with walkers, ventilators & rolling IV's. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/nonod.gif

Well Bret, my 50th college is next year, and I expect more than half will be dead. All a matter of perpective, I guess.

Well, weait until your 40th - they're all either old or dead! Even my high school girlfriend acted matronly!

Went to my wife's 30th in 2005 and it was amazing how all of her classmates were "old people"...not sure why they didn't manage to stay young like us! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif

Gettin' old is no fun but it sure as heck beats the alternative.

Ya know, I can't even begin to argue with that bit of logic. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

I went back for my 30th H.S. reunion in '05. Yes, there were a bunch of old looking people but also a bunch of people that seemed not to have changed much at all. I suppose genetics plays a part but almost all the "jocks" were out-of-shape. Plus all the dudes that got dressed up in 'not so hip' suits looked older than they needed to.

Everyone commented on how most the 'girls' were holding up better than the guys. (could it be the wonders of modern medicine?)

speaking of getting old...

my cubicle got bombed today by "The Committee" in charge of such affairs.

Personally, I didn't go to my 10th reunion. I don't think I'll go to my 20th either. Although, curiosity may get the better of me in another 3 years.

I was in 7th grade! Thanks, Dart, I was feeling old until you posted! Now turning 62 next year doesn't feel that old after all.....

I managed to miss the reunions. Nobody there I'd be that anxious to see. Fortieth will be next year. Gonna miss that'n too. I know where the few I'd want to see are. The rest, well...

Let's see, 20 year HS in 2 years...married to my HS girlfriend...that's the only person from the class of '89 I'm really interested in staying in touch with....and it gets more and more difficult!

10 year law school next year...you can bet your sweet whatever you've got that I ain't going to that one.

By-th'-by James, did we get a marathon report? Hmm?

Done in by a math major...again /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif I do agree with the opinion that our LBC's help to keep us young in spirit. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif Even if the driving isn't quite as spirited as it was 50 years ago - which I guess could be a good thing.

They dedicated it shortly after his death...I knew you had to be pretty close!!! It's GREAT us OLD GAS PASSERS still have OLDER GAS PASSERS to tease!

Basil makes us keep it clean he thinks "STRAF" spelt
frontward should be censored...Funny Basil!!
