Have to do intro to get rid of annoying notice (just an old guy complaining!. Anyway, raced a 1275 MG Midget in England '72-74, at many of the usual venues (Brands, Silverstone, Snetterton), had another Midget in SoCal for a few years (a bit small on LA freeways). When I came back from Vietnam in '68, had a Barracuda with monster 4 sp tranny and fast manual steering (spelled "great feel, but VERY Heavy" at parking speeds). Bought a couple '67/68 MGBGT's in early '90's for restoration, but got diverted into Stage Rallying 2000-2005 in California Rally Series. Won Production Rallycross and Stage Rally Championships running Toyota Corollas (utterly reliable after upgrading engines with forged rods/pistons). Retired USAF Aircraft Maintenance Officer '86, retired from Aerospace in '05, moved back to Oregon, built and sold '94 Celica rally car to a rally school, took up a lot of fishing (trout/salmon), 8 years doing Governor's fish restoration committee and angling education. Made one GT from two along the way, and hope to finish ground-up resto by April
"ebraker" refers to e braking to rotate the car - especially while pounding down a narrow gravel road at some totally insane speed (for which i eventually developed some penchant and moderate expertise without going over the berm).
