cwweigleathotmail ... anyone ever buy anything from this person? I just won an auction they had for a front anti-sway bar (eBay item 4533402485 incase the link doesn't work). Unfortunately, I didn't see that they don't do PayPal until after I won. I haven't purchased anything on eBay without the option of using PayPal before. So, I'm a little apprehensive about sending checks through the mail...

Haven't bought from that seller but his feedback is strong. Looking at items he previously sold it looks like he's a car nut and definately into MGs. Looks safe to me but of course it's your call!

Yeah, I searched his name on google. It seems he's dealt with parting out quite a few MGs before. His MG in the background of the pic for the anti-sway bar is pretty crazy, IMO.

I find the chrome air vents on the hood pretty funny. Guess it works anywhere, not just below the windshield! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif

Just get a money order at a comvenience store, Thomas Cook or Wells Fargo, etc. are usually sold. Safe for both of you, cheaper for you than a bank product. And he can feel confident to ship immediately on receipt of the check, and not have to wait for yours to clear.

I am an experienced Ebayer and would not hesitate to work with this seller and his terms...just my humble opinion.

I agree. In the "old days" before Paypal the safe way to do business was with moneyorders. I used them many times without a problem.
