EBAY- whats wrong with this picture

Ha, is not for a Bugeye. No clue what it is for.

Jack

7 bids, 5 different bidders. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif

Tempted to ask a question to the seller. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

are you sure it's not for a bugeye? I've been looking for an original shifter...and was thinking about bidding. Have NOT bid yet though...

where reverse on your BE?

not top left, bottom right

I've got a friend who got a good deal on a Sprite because of a shift knob like that. He bought it from an impound lot, and they were convinced reverse was gone.
Jeff

I'd plonk for a Mini or a 1300.I sure as heck wouldn't be bidding on it at that level. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nonono.gif

Stuart.

Healey 100 had reverse there... right?

GB1, good point. Have not put the engine in yet and have not driven the car in 10+ years. A bit rusty on the memory I s'pose!

Yes, I just wanted to let the guys\gals in the forum know, so that no one forks out the $ for something that isn't correct.

Gee, I do have an NOS BMC wrapped Sprite shifter and the "R" is on the bottom right where it's supposed to be.
Think I can get $100 for a shift knob?
