Ebay Oil Pump

ok thanks
I wonder if the quality is any better
phil

I saw the superflow pump, I thought it was more for a racing motor.
what are using the APT pump on.
Phil

The high volume oil pump just move more volume at high RPM, on a street engine not really as important. Most vendor are selling these pumps will the steel backplate, and they work fine. The oil pump on a A-series engine is not a weak point, in short any of the pumps will work fine.

Be sure that you are not using that for a 1275 or 1500 engine. It is a "pin drive" pump which would require mods to fit anything newer than a 1098.
Bill

Understood. I just didn't know if you had read some of Phils' earlier posts regarding what he was working on.
I've run star drives in some of the 948's in order to take advantage of the wider cam lobes.
