eBay,new low

How is that a new low?

100% of the winning bid goes to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund, if they don't have a problem with it, I sure don't.

The new low isn't from the money going to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, I would say that the low come from the fact that someone who was working on a project at Yankee Stadium, and who happened to be a Red Sox fan, put this jersey in the cement to "curse" the Yankees. Of course once the story broke, everyone jumped on it like it was the big thing. Frankly I could care less about the whole deal.

I'm a Pirates fan!

Got it, it was a rather silly stunt. And I apologize for my rather pointed response to the original post. We help with fundraising for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and every little bit helps. I guess I took it a little too personal.

Regardless, I'm a Cards fan, and it's fun to sit back and watch the rivalries between other teams. Who knows? It might have worked. If/when they tear down Wrigley Field, they might find a St. Louis Browns jersey buried under there somewhere...

It was amusing to bury the shirt in concrete- it was goofy to go through the trouble to dig it up then talk about suing the worker.

If only Jimmy Hoffa was that easy to find......
