I can easily find listing fees for ebay motors. For low-volume sellers (under six a year), it seems pretty inexpensive to list.
But nowhere can I find the fees when the item actually sells.
For non-motors items (e.g. electronics) there's a "final value" fee, which is a percentage of the sale price. This is in addition to the "listing fees".
Does anyone know how the "final value" fee is calculated on ebay motors cars?
When I search Ebay Motors for selling fees, all I get is the listing fees. Can't seem to find any info on "final value" fees for Ebay Motors.
Reason I'm asking: I see so many cars that sell (apparently), then go right back on the market within a month, often by the original seller. The sale may have fallen through (or was a sham) - but how are the seller's "percentage of final sale" fees calculated?
Can anyone point me to the Ebay Motors page showing final sales fees?
Thanks.
Tom
