Has anyone esle noticed that the feedback ratings have changed? As of a day or so ago my feedback was 275 and was 99.6%.

Today I have a feedback of 281 and 97.1% with no new feedbacks from the other day.

I sent them an email to explain this as I really does not add up. I have 1 negative which I got really early from a disgruntalled seller and a neutral in the past few months.

Any others?

I just looked at mine, and it went from 205 to 214. I still have the 100% rating, but it is kind of weird.

It may be that it used to be if you purchased or sold something to the same person twice, you only got one feedback in your rating. It could be that all feedback now counts.

They sent out a notice several months ago notifying you that they were changing their policy about feedback from sellers you purchase more than one item from. (Our is up to 291) I would be interested to know why your feedback rating dropped though. It seems that adding more fgeedback would raise the rating percent if you have only 1 negative.

terriphil...I agree...vp good luck on reading up on the changes..I dozed off twice and never finished reading the ebay emails..<chuckle>

Somebody give us the condensed version!

I sent them a long email. I am 100% positive of what I had yesterday and today it way off.

So it seems that feedback is only calculated for the past 12 months. Since I recieved a "neutral" in the past 12 months I kinda get the shaft. It was nive to have a feedback of 99.6%

This is from ebay"

The Positive Feedback percentage is calculated based on the number of positive, negative and neutral ratings (including weekly Repeat Feedback) received in the last 12 months as follows:

Positives
Positives + Neutrals + Negatives

This member's 12 Month Feedback ratings
Positives: 34 Neutrals: 1 Negatives: 0

This member's Positive Feedback percentage

34 + 1 + 0 = 97.1%

I just checked mine. I have a whopping 40 by my name. If I look at my total feedback pages, it has 45. Maybe the repeats aren't figured in?
